“Since the establishment of Wiremind Cargo as a separate airfreight-focused entity in November 2021 and the subsequent launch of CargoStack, we have been on a rapid growth path that requires professional and stable customer focus. Hence the expansion of Wiremind Cargo’s management team to include a Vice President of Business Development,” says Nathanael de Tarade, Managing Director of Wiremind Cargo. “With Guillermo Medina Moralejo, Wiremind Cargo gains a business leader with experience in implementing customer strategies and growing businesses, spanning air freight and last mile logistics. Moralejo brings both airline and logistics technology startup experience and we are excited to welcome him on our growth journey.

Through close interaction with existing and new customers, Wiremind Cargo will expand its international presence, develop and promote its product portfolio, and refine its suite of software solutions based on customer feedback. The Vice President of Business Development therefore acts as the key interface between customers and Wiremind Cargo’s product and technical teams.

“Wiremind Cargo’s focus on creating innovative, high-quality products that positively impact the logistics and transportation industry, as well as their courage to launch a new CMS product in a market dominated by established cargo technology solutions, are what attracted me to this company,” says Moralejo. “As Vice President of Business Development, I can combine two of my passions: air cargo, which I am excited to return to again, and the interaction with customers. Only once customer problems are fully understood can solutions be modeled in full alignment with what is required in the market. I’m really looking forward to meeting customers and partners face-to-face, gaining a better understanding of their businesses, and learning where Wiremind Cargo can support them in their digital transformations.

Spanish by birth, Moralejo was educated in the UK and has spent the past six years in Asia, primarily in Hong Kong where he will remain based in his new role to expand Wiremind Cargo’s footprint in key markets. Asians. He will join Wiremind Cargo from Lalamove, a crowd-sourced logistics start-up where, as Head of Enterprise Solutions, he created and implemented the company’s enterprise sales strategy across 11 markets in Asia and Latin America. Previously, he held various positions within Cathay Pacific, including Executive Assistant to the Airline’s Group CEO and Head of Cargo Customer Information.
