Vodafone Business is the leading IoT roaming provider


According Juniper ResearchVodafone Business is the leading service provider in the IoT roaming space.

The search giant evaluates vendors based on a number of key metrics including: capacity and capabilities, solution positioning, size of operations, financial performance and product sophistication.

Here are Juniper’s top six IoT roaming providers:

  1. Vodafone Company
  2. Tata Communications
  3. TNS
  4. BICS
  5. Synunivers
  6. iBase

“Vodafone Business is delighted to have been recognized as the leading IoT roaming provider in Juniper Research’s Competitor Rankings,” said Phil Skipper, Head of IoT Strategy and Development for Vodafone Company.

“Our IoT platform, which offers managed IoT connectivity, device management and application development, enables our traveling partners to actively participate in and monetize the global IoT connectivity opportunity.”

Juniper was impressed with Vodafone Business’ scalable IoT product offering that supports device management, Low Power Wide Access (LPWA) network services and mobile private networks.

Vodafone Business has also been praised for its “Application-as-a-Service” model, which Juniper says will drive adoption of IoT roaming services among SMBs by lowering barriers to entry.

By 2027, Juniper predicts that global IoT roaming connections will grow from 300 million in 2022 to 1.8 billion, representing a growth of 500%.
