The Agri-Foodtech brand, Vendease, has impacted members of the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN), Ikorodu branch, with intensive business management training at their secretariat in Ikorodu, Lagos, May 10, 2022.
The training was organized as part of the brand’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach.
Speaking, Head of Marketing, Febechi Archibong: “As a food technology brand, we are always looking for ways to impact and support the food value chain and you can agree that baked goods like bread are a staple in this climate. So, we thought, what better way to support than to provide the right education and tools to help these small businesses grow. We know that regional artisanal and other relatively small-to-medium sized players, which account for approximately 72% of the market, dominate the bakery products sub-sector. We cannot overemphasize the importance of this set of people.
One of the participants in the training, Mrs. Adepoju Kehinde, said: “It’s a great initiative by Vendease, it’s a real revelation. I am sure that my records will be better with the knowledge that I have acquired through this training.
The President of the Lagos Chapter of the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria (AMBCN), Alhaji Raji Omotunde expressed his appreciation for the initiative citing the importance of knowledge sharing for the association and its members.
