Director of Growth, MetroStar
MetroStar’s appointment of its first female CEO represents the company’s commitment to diversity at all levels of the organization. Rachel Cohen joined MetroStar as Chief Growth Officer last year and has since made progress that reflects the overall advancement of technology solutions in government and the subsequent evolution of MetroStar.
“Rachel’s career exemplifies the possibilities created when you empower talented and passionate leaders to transform businesses, customers and industries,” said Mo Hessabi, COO of MetroStar. “We are proud to have him at MetroStar, training future leaders in public markets.
In his role, Cohen brings more than 25 years of GovCon experience and most recently led MetroStar’s growth and operations teams through their largest proposition in the company’s 23-year history.
“The proposal was a true team effort, involving our solutions architects, account managers, marketing and regional growth leadership, and of course our incredible proposal team,” Cohen said.
Cohen’s team is focused on executing deliberate and sustained growth strategies that maximize advancements in artificial intelligence in the public sector. She noted that the company’s differentiator is its ability to deeply understand customer missions and deploy breakthrough solutions and digital services that enable those missions.
“Growth is difficult; it is not for the humble,” she said. “People prefer working for MetroStar because we embrace the mission and culture of customer service, innovation and teamwork that a company of this size offers. Actions speak louder than words, and the investments we make in our growth, R&D and people are what matter. »
