Pushkar Sinha, Vice President (Sales, Business Development and Customer Service), Atul Auto

Pushkar Sinha, Vice President (Sales, Business Development and Customer Service) at Atul Auto Limited (AAL) recently resigned from his post, a source familiar with the matter said. ETAuto. He joined the three-wheeler manufacturing business in Rajkot, Gujarat in January 2021.

ETAuto has learned that he resigned from his position after a stint of nearly a year and a half for personal reasons.

At Atul Auto, Sinha was responsible for sales, marketing, strategy, dealership development, retail finance, team management and channel management for ICEs and EVs.

Sinha, having over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, started his career at Tata Motors in 1997 and worked there for over a decade until March 2007, from the start of his career as a Graduate Engineer Intern to Sales Manager, East, Head of Aftersales Planning, RSO Management, TBEM/ISO Process Owner, CRM -Siebel Implementation for all of East Sales.

Later in the year 2007, Sinha joined Bajaj Auto Ltd. as Regional Manager Northern Region and had a brief stint until 2012 when he joined Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited as Deputy Managing Director and Head of Small Three Wheel Business. Initially at Piaggio, he developed a volume and market share target strategy, production planning and formulated a service and spare parts availability strategy. He also planned retail initiatives through promotional activities and oversaw ISO audits and compliance.

In 2015, he was appointed Sales and Customer Service Manager, Exports for Sri Lanka, where his role was to manage distribution and inventory activities, shipment tracking and retail sales for all products to export to Sri Lanka.

Later in 2016, he was again promoted at Piaggio as Sales and Business Development Manager, Alternative Fuels and Electric Vehicles. In this role, he was responsible for volume and market share targets for alternative fuel vehicles in India.

With Piaggio, Sinha spent more than eight years.

He also had a brief stint at Euler Motors in 2020 where he worked for three months as assistant vice president, sales and marketing. He was responsible for all sales and marketing in India for niche EV products.
