Applicants with a teaching interest and key research strength in one or more of the following areas: database management, business systems design and analysis, e-commerce, business application programming, IT governance, auditing and Control, Telecommunications in Enterprises, Decision Support and Business Intelligence Systems, Management Information Systems, Management Information Systems for Small and Medium Enterprises, Seminar on E-Business Management and Information Systems information, web design and development, big data analytics and applications, information security management, e-marketing, online customer behaviors and web analytics, application development for mobile and social media.

Job requirement

Applicants must hold a PhD in a related discipline. Successful applicants must be committed to excelling in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to high-impact results, such as publication in high-quality, internationally recognized indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined based on the experience and achievements of the successful candidate.

Appointment conditions

Appointment to this position will initially be on a two-year fixed-term contract. Starting salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Benefits include housing allowance, vacation and medical insurance. Continuation of the commitment beyond the initial mandate will be subject to mutual agreement.
