Objective of the work (brief)

  • Identify profitable business opportunities, close solid business deals, and develop and execute strategies to increase company sales and profits.

Responsibilities

  • Define partnership and business strategies by which partnerships can contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Structuring and negotiating agreements with potential partners.
  • Attend trade shows and other networking events Manage and optimize a portfolio of partnerships to grow and support the business globally

  • Manage and optimize a portfolio of partnerships to grow and support the business globally.
  • Market Research Identify and build business cases for high potential partnership opportunities.
  • Identify competitors and how the business can do better than its competitors.
  • Report writing Weekly market research report indicating the number of potential customers encountered.
  • Business Proposals Writing business proposals to potential clients and customers
  • Target Market/Customers Build and maintain an existing database of customers/prospects to meet expected weekly/monthly business goals.
  • All other duties Perform any other duties assigned.

Education credentials and work experience

  • HND / B.Sc in Business Management / Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a business development officer or similar role
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to drive and travel as needed
  • Strong business acumen.
