In addition to our customer-focused approach, we are also implementing a five-year strategic plan to help position the business for future growth and profitability. Under our current plan, we are focusing on five key strategies:

Drees recognizes that people are our most valuable resource. We work diligently to hire, develop and retain great talent. We have a strong preference for promotions from within, as evidenced by the large number of leaders who have completed our management development program.

Each year, high performing employees are nominated by their managers to be considered for the management development program. Applicants are then carefully assessed for potential growth. Only the top 10 are accepted into the multi-year development program, which consists of enhanced leadership and cross-training.

At Drees, we invest in our people by supporting them, developing their skills and showing them that we care. We are focused on extending simple gestures of appreciation, public expressions of appreciation and gratitude, and providing all employees with bonus compensation and a profit-sharing retirement plan.
