BMC Software Acquires Business Management Solutions Leader ITM Software


BMC Software (NYSE: BMC) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of ITM Software.

BMC’s purchase of ITM Software creates a single, integrated solution that provides customers with a single, comprehensive view of project and service portfolios, finance, operations, resources, vendors, compliance and IT demand – all the applications an IT organization needs to run as a true business unit.

The acquisition also strengthens BMC’s capabilities in IT business optimization, providing customers with the ability to extract more value from traditional project management tools, asset data, service portfolios and budgets. to make decisions across the entire IT value chain, while ensuring good governance and ongoing compliance.
