A seasoned media management professional, Basant, in his first stint in media planning, worked at agencies such as Ogilvy, Mudra, Mindshare and Madison, where he planned and bought media for leading brands in various categories, from chocolates to automobiles.

Basant Rathore, Senior VP – Strategic Planning, Brand & Business Development at Jagran Prakashan Ltd, joins the prestigious jury of the Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022.

During his first stint in media planning, Basant worked at agencies such as Ogilvy, Mudra, Mindshare and Madison, where he planned and bought media for leading brands in various categories, from chocolates to automobiles.

He has also conducted over 30 media workshops for working professionals and taught media management at MICA for over 10 years as a visiting professor. He has also lectured at XIM Bhubaneshwar, IMT Ghaziabad, Flame University, Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communications and Bennett University.

The Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2022 competition, which is well underway and in its final stage of entries, has garnered good response and participation in 7 different award categories and over 20 sub-categories.

2022 OAA winners will receive the coveted metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on the evening of August 18, 2022, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Congress (OAC) 2022. The awards will be presented by highly accomplished brand marketers and international OOH leaders.
