About the role
Working on-site in Adelaide, South Australia, this role will work within UniSA Online to support the development and delivery of programs for online programs. Within the University of South Australia, the role of online lecturer goes by the title of online course facilitator.
This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional with expertise in the discipline of business, particularly management/entrepreneurship, to teach in eight core course offerings to five undergraduate degrees and the new Bachelor in Digital Commerce. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and delivery of engaging course curricula and program materials. The role will include implementing pedagogical approaches that maximize student experience and learning outcomes and will also assist in the recruitment and development of tutoring staff within UniSA Online.
Critical to the success of the role, you will work on-site to build strong partnerships with University stakeholders, ensuring that UniSA Online identifies and responds to strategic opportunities.
*This position is located in Adelaide and does not have the ability to work remotely.

UniSA Online was created as a key project within the University’s digital learning strategy. UniSA Online offers fully online degrees specifically designed for on-demand study, 24/7 student support, and access to cutting-edge teaching and learning resources through an interactive platform in line.
The current phase of the UniSA Online project (2021-2023) involves working towards our strategic ambitions detailed in Enterprise25, growing our online postgraduate programs and short courses, and extending our reach to students based in foreigner.
Essential skills and experience
To be successful, you will have a doctorate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline as well as recent teaching experience and disciplinary expertise in the fields of entrepreneurship and management, in particular business-accounting, resources human resources, management, financial planning and marketing. Your experience using a range of teaching methodologies and educational technologies that support online learning and course administration is essential, as well as expertise in designing and preparing resources online teaching. You will have a high level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create a positive culture within your team.
